GobiernoUSA.gov Celebrates 10 Years of Service to Hispanic Americans

USA.gov’s Spanish language counterpart GobiernoUSA.gov gives the public even more access to valuable government information when, where, and how they want it. GobiernoUSA.gov

 

  • Recognizing that Latinos became the largest minority in the United States in 2000, GSA created GobiernoUSA.gov in October 2003

  • Over the past 10 years, GobiernoUSA.gov has served more than 40 million visitors

  • GobiernoUSA.gov is also on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Tumblr with a total of 160,000 followers

  • GobiernoUSA.gov syndicates content to media outlets in the United States in Spanish and English and had over 6300 placements with an audience reach of 3.1 billion this fiscal year.

  • GobiernoUSA.gov actively engages with the community by participating in community events that are central to the Hispanic community such as the National Council of La Raza Annual Conference.
