Create a Conference App for the SEC

Closed - a photo of a pie with 20% missingTapas: The Securities and Exchange Commission is looking for someone to create an internal conference app for their agency’s upcoming 1st Annual Budget and Performance Summit, offered to SEC employees nationwide. For 3 days, agency staff will participate in training and attend panel discussions on budget and performance-related topics.

The SEC wants to provide an app to attendees that will make the summit more exciting and useful by allowing the organizers to digitally and instantly communicate with and provide resources to attendees. We would like to app to contain features such as the summit schedule, speaker bios, attendee listing (showing the name and email of summit attendees so that they can easily connect with one another), conference document/presentation library, and a News link where we can provide instant updates. Bonus features would include the ability for attendees to develop a customize schedule, a polling feature, and push notifications.

The app should be viewable on Apple and Android devices, however Blackberry is preferred. We should be able to access the app only via our agency network, so it does not need to be mobile, but mobile is preferred.

The development of this app could change internal agency conferences government-wide!
